Churchill Howard are currently partnering with a well-known business in Herefordshire to recruit a Head of Commercial Finance. This role will lead a small team in the delivery of commercial finance support, FP&A and management accounting for the business.

Responsibilities will include:
• Acting as an essential business partner to senior stakeholders in key business areas
• Delivering analysis to support decision making
• Identifying opportunities and risks for commercial benefit
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts and supporting budget owners
• Drive data led decision making and enhance the use of data to this effect
• Conducting investment appraisals and supporting contract negotiations
• Overseeing the production of management accounts and associated monthly board reporting / commentary

The successful person will have:
• A recognised UK accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Relevant experience in commercial finance roles
• Leadership capabilities to manage, lead and develop others
• Strong communication skills to support team and business stakeholders
• Strong competency with financial systems
