You’ll work closely with finance leaders across the globe, including CFOs and Financial Controllers, and gain direct exposure to the Group FD and CFO. The role also includes involvement in strategic group-wide projects, offering excellent visibility and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation of the Group’s IFRS consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary FRS 102 accounts.
Prepare technical accounting papers, with a focus on impairment and acquisition accounting.
Lead the year-end audit process, ensuring efficiency and compliance with strict timetables.
Prepare and review monthly Group and UK management information.
Take ownership of holding company entities, including monthly reconciliations and reporting.
Manage Group bank reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of financial controls across the Group.
Support overseas territories with acquisition accounting and financial reporting processes.
Contribute to key strategic projects and ad hoc initiatives.
Key Requirements
ACA qualified, ideally Top 10 trained, with strong experience in IFRS, FRS 102, and group consolidation.
Previous experience in financial control and year-end reporting.
Exposure to M&A and acquisition accounting is highly desirable.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proactive, adaptable, and confident working both independently and collaboratively.
