This role offers the opportunity to take a central position in shaping audit strategy, leading a team of auditors, and embedding a culture of assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation.
The Role
As Internal Audit Manager you will:
Lead and deliver the risk-based internal audit plan across central functions, regions, and projects.
Provide visible leadership to a blended team of four, ensuring consistency, accountability, and professional growth.
Consolidate insights from internal audits, BSI reviews, and peer-led assessments to create a cohesive assurance view.
Drive compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and internal control frameworks.
Produce clear, actionable reports and dashboards that support executive decision-making.
Partner with senior stakeholders to advise on control enhancements, risk mitigation, and governance improvements.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
A degree in Finance, Business, Audit, or a related field.
Proven experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk — ideally in large, complex, or regulated businesses (construction or infrastructure desirable but not essential).
Knowledge of ISO standards and audit methodologies.
Experience managing multi-site or matrix audit teams.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive, commercially aware, and improvement-focused mindset.
