Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing group bringing together a family of much-loved brands under one collaborative umbrella. Combining heritage with innovation, the business continues to expand its reach while remaining true to its roots.
They are now looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to take ownership of one of their flagship brands’ finances — a role offering real visibility, variety and influence across the business.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the financial health of the brand — from accurate monthly reporting to insightful analysis and business partnering. This is a genuinely broad role encompassing control, planning, and strategic input.
You will:
Prepare, analyse and report monthly management accounts and board packs with clear commentary and insight.
Manage prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet integrity.
Ensure regulatory and tax compliance, including industry-specific reporting.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and planning process, supporting cost-saving initiatives.
Partner with production, sales and operations teams to deliver commercial insight and drive performance.
Oversee inventory and costing processes — ensuring accuracy in stock valuation and margin analysis.
Support system improvements and contribute to the ongoing finance system migration project.
Identify and implement process efficiencies to strengthen internal controls and reporting quality.
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong management accounting experience.
Exposure to inventory-based businesses and an understanding of standard costing.
Confident user of ERP/accounting systems with strong Excel skills.
Commercially astute, analytical, and solutions-focused.
Collaborative communicator, comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders.
Organised, detail-driven, and proactive — able to work both strategically and hands-on.
What’s on Offer
Competitive salary and benefits package.
Company pension scheme.
Generous product allowance.
Opportunities for growth within a supportive, values-led business.
The chance to combine hands-on financial ownership with strategic influence in a role that truly makes an impact.
