The Role:
As CFO, you will be the finance lead for all divisions with the group, leading an established team and providing support to the CEO to deliver on business objectives. You will ensure that the Group maintains strong financial control, optimises profitability, supports operational efficiency, and delivers sustainable long-term growth.
Responsibilities will include:
• Leading the delivery of accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting, including statutory accounts, monthly management reporting, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support operational planning across all divisions.
• Overseeing cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and treasury strategy.
• Managing financial risk, insurance, capital structure, and banking relationships.
• Acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO, helping to shape long-term growth plans, investment decisions and driving innovation initiatives.
• Managing the group tax strategy and fulfilling all company secretarial duties.
• Providing commercial insight on pricing, product profitability, sourcing, and operational improvements initiatives.
• Leading financial analysis for new product development, expansion opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Driving continued modernisation of finance systems, BI tools, and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight.
• Leading, motivating, and developing the Group Finance function
The Person:
Experience and skills we are looking for include:
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Strong, relevant experience as a CFO or Finance Director in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (UK GAAP and IFRS) including preparation of statutory accounts and group consolidations.
• Proven track record in effective working capital management and cash flow improvements.
• Extensive systems experience including MS Office and ERP systems, including modelling
• Track record of leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent commercial acumen, analytical capabilities and communication skills.

The package on offer:
• £140 – 160,000 + car allowance, leadership bonus and other benefits
• Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office
