We’re partnering on a confidential search for an experienced finance leader to step into a highly visible Head of Accounting role within a large, internationally recognised organisation.
This is an opportunity for someone who has a highly technical accounting skillset, backed up by strong leadership and people development skills.
You’ll bring accounting insight to help with complex strategic decisions, strengthen governance, and ensuring reporting quality across a dynamic environment.
What you’ll be leading:
• Acting as the senior technical accounting authority across the business
• Influencing executive stakeholders across a variety of business functions
• Driving accounting policy interpretation and governance
• Enhancing reporting quality, control effectiveness and financial process maturity
• Leading external audit engagements and supporting cross-functional alignment
• Developing and mentoring a high-performing specialist finance team
We are looking for leaders who bring:
• ACA (or equivalent) accounting qualification
• Strong post-qualified experience in technical accounting and financial leadership
• Background within a complex listed environment
• IFRS expertise and strong judgement in ambiguous situations
• Ability to translate technical complexity into commercial action
• A collaborative leadership style with credibility at executive level
