Churchill Howard are working with a highly successful and growing professional services firm that is expanding its presence in Birmingham and looking for an ambitious Accountancy Manager to join its brand-new office.

This is a genuinely varied role combining client advisory, team leadership and business development — with the opportunity to work closely with some of the Midlands' most exciting owner-managed businesses.

What you'll be doing
• Manage and develop a team delivering accounts, VAT, corporation tax and cloud accounting services.
• Build trusted relationships with owner-managed businesses, typically £2m–£15m turnover.
• Coach and mentor junior accountants, helping develop the next generation of business advisers.
• Work alongside Partners to grow the client portfolio and identify new opportunities.
• Develop a strong network across the Midlands to support business development.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services and add genuine value to clients.

What we're looking for
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Experience within an accountancy practice/business services environment.
• Strong technical accounting and client management skills.
• A natural people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
• Commercially minded, confident and motivated to contribute to growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
