Financial Reporting Senior Manager

I’m working with a large, listed business looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Senior Manager into a high-profile Group Finance role.

You’ll lead key areas of external and statutory reporting, manage the external audit relationship and take ownership of a broad range of technical accounting matters. The role also offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and responsibility for developing an established team.

Key responsibilities:

Lead preparation of Group and subsidiary financial statements, interim reporting and quarterly results
Manage the annual external audit process
Own key technical accounting areas including consolidation, leases, share-based payments, fixed assets, borrowings and revenue recognition
Partner with finance and operational teams on complex accounting matters
Support the ongoing development of financial controls and reporting processes
Lead, coach and develop a high-calibre finance team

What we’re looking for:

ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
Strong technical financial reporting experience within a large or complex organisation
Experience managing and developing a team
Strong IFRS and General Ledger knowledge
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and tight reporting deadlines

Listed business experience, ERP/reporting transformation exposure and an interest in how AI can improve finance processes would all be advantageous.
